Q: Are there any scholarships available?
Showchoir Camps of America awards scholarships at a variety of show choir competitions throughout the country. Additionally, many of our campers in the past have also been successful gaining personal scholarship and sponsorship funding through school booster clubs, parent organizations, school administration, local civic groups, and arts associations. (such as Jaycees, Lions Club, City Arts Council, Rotary Club). Organizations such as these will often allocate scholarship funds to aid local students in attending programs and camps that promote fine arts or academic education.

Q: Can you tell me what type of supervision will be at camp?
The camper’s day is well structured and supervised morning to night. In addition to our Camp Directors, Clinicians, Head Counselors and Student Welfare Coordinator, we have an approximate ratio of one counselor to every ten campers. At night, there is a counselor available on the floor of every residence at all times. Counselors are college age students selected through submitting applications and follow up with references. The majority have been previous SCA campers.

Q: What should I bring to camp?
A detailed packing list will be sent to you a few weeks before camp begins to assist you in preparation, but mostly, it is comfortable clothes for rehearsals all day and then nicer casual wear for the evening shows. One night time performance it is suggested to be a little dressier and one night there is a black and white dance, so wear black and white!
